Deus ex HR was certainly a great experience, great cyberpunk adventure, hopefully more of the same.

Just curious is based on the Human Revolution Engine, or this Android Equivalent Engine?

Doubt it, because it loads quite differently.

My desire to get this just dropped a bit.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this at all costs.

It's not that bad, at least when you take into consideration that it's an android/mobile game. The fact you get the full HR package as a bonus to buying is also of note. The price could be a little lower in my opinion, probably worth waiting until there's a sale. It's extra story for the period more than anything. Just don't go into it expecting an impressive Deus Ex experience.

    Is it good game?

I upgraded to dev cut original game and caused major FPS drops.
Is performance in this game better?

I mentioned in the screenshot thread that it's now using the Unity Engine (4.x I think, 5.x was just announced as competition to UE4 and the new CryEngine.) so yeah performance is great but there's not many options to adjust and it's DX9 only.
(The post I did in the screenshot thread - http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4784215&postcount=713 )

Also as I mentioned it's a short game, wasn't even aware that it was episodic and it seems uncertain now if the following episodes will be released at all so you do get a cliffhanger ending after what could be called the first chapter of the game, about three or four main missions in and if you've only done those the game can likely be completed in about two hours or so.
(Took me nearly six hours because I was running back and forth, exploring areas multiple times and doing the various side quests - there's five in total.)

Bought this tonight. Boy, is it ugly visually. It attempts to copy Deus Ex: Human Revolution's art style and menus but it has a really cheap workmanlike look to it (no surprise really as this was an iOS/Android game). There's barebones graphics options and it uses DX9 (oh lord, that old chestnut!) rather than DX11 so there's no tessellation, SSAO and any other fancy effects.

It is also extremely buggy with help menus staying onscreen and actually zooming in when you're using the gun's scope!!! It also apparently cannot decide whether to list mouse/keyboard or controller contols because the onscreen icons shown are for the controller but the tutorial/help menus refer to the mouse and keyboard! Laziness all round really.

From the looks of things it's Unity. Not exactly the most attractive engine around but it seems to be very popular these days, especially with Indie developers.

I see they still love the amber color lighting look. Just doesn't look right at all. I never could get HR to work correctly without crashing but yet Missing Link never had an issue, very odd.

The logic is strange in the dev world. Port touch phone games like this to PC, but not consoles, yet dont port games like RDR to PC, even though theyd make money instead of losing out.
