Definitively not something I'd *hit on. :p
(Not my screenshot, probably from the PS4 version going by the controller square icon.)

    EDIT:
Yeah the tech demo was for the game engine, not the game running on said game engine.

It is a pretty common practice such as for example this comparison with Cry-Engine back with Crysis 1 and Cry-Engine 2 in 2006 or so.

It looks like the tech demo, because all those features showed in that demo, exist in the final game.

People seem to miss the point of tech demos sometimes.

They are not to show what the game will look like... most of the time they are meant to show what the engine is capable of.

And, in this case, the final game is not far from what the tech demo showed. It's using all the effects showcased in the demo.
Everything the demo showed the engine capable of doing, is in the final game. Just art, assets and tone shift as the project changed over the years.

    That happens. It has to.
If you don't allow your art to change over time you're not growing.

1060 pretty unimpressive, the 980, 970 and 980ti looking solid, with some oc headroom still left in there.

Curious as to whether the 3GB of VRAM is causing the GTX 1060 to get such low scores. I guess we'll know when they finish benching the 6GB version.

I really hope for some improvements since 60fps is not really what I hoped for at 1440p :( Is that with MSAA disable? Guess it will have to be like with the Division, tuning down things.

1080Ti, your services are needed :)

Steam unpacks archives which was encrypted.
BTW as I said, Patch is 3gb. 21 from 24 downloaded here.
Only on PS4 patch is 4gb:banana:

did not work, had to delete the game and start the download on a different disk. Steam seems to be bugged.

I'm guessing (hoping) that this is a game that looks a lot better in motion than screenshots.

As i expected, unoptimized POS detected..It's even worse than Quantum Break, Jesus..It requires a !@#$ing GTX1070 in order to maintain 60frames on Medium settings/1080P. :bang:

''Lastly, at 'Medium', which is the lowest settings we'd recommend playing on for a good time, performance is most likely to increase by just under 15 percent or so. Even so, all the 2GB cards still have minimums below 30fps, but the R9 280X 3GB just manages to hit this target. The GTX 1070 also finally exceed 60fps on the minimum, but you're unlikely to buy a GTX 1070 to play at medium settings.''
