so it's 7hrs away for me
Yea was hoping to play this afternoon but oh well.
me too but i guess it's a good excuse to take a nap now
or watch GOT E7 recap
It's live, but it's stuck on connecting for me.
Guess their servers are getting hammered.
EDIT: Nvm, i just had to restart the game.
It runs far better then expected, never drops below 70fps on max settings.
But that's being inside a ship, i expect it to run a bit worse when on one of the open worlds.
Beta seems limited to 1 singleplayer mission, 2 PVP maps and 1 dungeon aka Strike.
And man does it play smooth, just top notch!
I think they did put out on their twitter it might have some problems connecting.
Also question, is there an NDA on the open beta at all? Looking at some of the streams of folks on the early access PC beta, it looks identical to the first Destiny.
No idea, but it kinda does, but compared to PC it looks much sharper and detailed.
it runs very well , @1440p there's a lot of aliasing no matter what
@4k the aliasing isn't visible that much
this might be the same E3 build because som options are not very detailed like AO settings
I meant more like the UI and menu looked like the first Destiny.
It runs good for me, 60+ on high preset with highest textures and AF. I can't say I'm massively sold on it though, I can see it becoming very repetitive, very fast. I've only been playing it a couple of hours and I'm not really bothered about playing more, although I would like to continue the story if it were an option. We'll see how I feel by the end of beta.
Runs wells but the beta is kinda meh. PVP is pretty awful but PVE seems fun. One for the sales imo.
RTSS osd works with the beta if anyone is wondering
Ugh, I can't even preload it until the open beta starts....Lame....=[
I have just Installed Geforce Experience to get the beta key , needless to say i will now be uninstalling it again
i have to say HDR works quite well , but it needs to be on windowed fullscreen
Open beta period has started.
I started downloading about an hour ago and it maxed my connection speed 2mb/ps.
Now it has dropped to only around 150 to 235kb/s...The servers must be getting hammered hard.
WTF now only at 70kb/s by the time i get to play this the beta will be over..
Played a few hours today. It's super procreating generic. Definitely one to get on sale.
well after playing pc beta and ps4 one i think i will switch to PC version....damn 400+h of destiny 1 on ps4 was sure i will choose console version but bungie good very good job in terms of optimization....
Downloaded yesterday at 19:00 GMT+2 and got instant max download speed (30MB/s) so I'm happy to see that the servers work fine.
Tried both 1440p/144Hz and 4K/60Hz and it looks like DoF is broken on max settings, the ingame FPS counter goes bananas and displays weird numbers. But when I lower DoF and keep the rest on max, it looks absolutely gorgeous at 4K and keeps 60fps at all times.
I'll do a Firestrike at 1440p this evening to try that out (still way easier to handle aiming with a mouse than with a game pad). Looked like 144fps at all times as well but I'll have to confirm that.
I loved the art style and mechanics of Destiny 1 so I really hope this one will be as good or even better. Also lucky to get the game from a friend for 20€ who got it for free when buying a graphics card.
