Would rather get an LG CX 48" @ $1499 over the Dell.

That LG that everyone keeps mentioning:

    • Bad black uniformity.
    • Sub-par contrast ratio.
    • Mediocre reflection handling

But.. the colors are accurate? Does that make it worth the price and the cons? "This $200 bowl of soup is delicious besides the flies and maggots. The broth is unmatched though."

And where do you get this? References? Rtings has a solid review on it and it gets a 10/10 on black uniformity and a 10/10 on contrast ratio (infinite).

Well it is pretty obvious you are clueless any ways to why someone has a decision they made. I race alot of sims and normal racing games. 32:9 vs 21:9 is a big jump for single monitor. Love when a smarty pants says that is just a stretched 1080p monitor.
It may be a downgrade in pixels yes, but over all everything it offers is far better then my 35 inch was.

Aside from your rationale for choosing your particular screen sizes, aspect ratios, for *your purposes* (which you laughably think are universal), you seem quite butthurt to find ppl with different priorities or preferences, as if they are a threat to what you have. A 3840x1080 UW REMAINS the same vertical height as a regular 1080p, in other words short and 'squished'. Anyone who doesnt get that is just plain dumb. It may offer YOU for your own niche needs whatever it gets you, but it stops there for most others (who would usually go for taller ultra-wides). I dont normally respond as harsh as this, but you entered this thread like an arrogant jerk with a chip on your shoulder, and apparently a few days later nothing changed. Must suck to be you.
