Dell 5k monitor

    Wow, 5k on 27". Why?

    I personally think 4k is ridiculous on anything below 32" so this is just bloody daft.

    Just for a giggle last week I set DSR up for 4k on my 970 and the desktop was still way too small. And this was on a 40" TV that I was sat 3 ft from!

    EDIT: Might try it on my projector, that's got a 116" screen lol See how close I have to get for it to be comfortable reading.

    Yeah I mean currently most pros are using proxy footage for editing then program automatically converts that to the final 4K footage but a lot of them are asking for 5K monitors so you get the 4K native support + resolution for the UI elements of the editing program.

    4K editing eats a lot memory though so it's mostly just for color correction and stuff.

    It has arrived...5k DELL monitor....played COD AW...one word..amazing. no point in posting screenshots/videos but will post images of the monitor later. Running with AMD R9295X with dual display port 5k at 60hz
