Well, that samurai tells the story in very original and non standart way. Its a nice game, not a fun game. Kojima isn't someone. It's a complex person. You can watch his interview on YouTube and how he speaks.
Kojima's style can be very complex. The Metal Gear games of the NES, PSX and Playstation 2 era were the best. He also hit a major homerun with Zone Of The Enders 2. Hideo Kojima is also a kind man. I will never forget this kind act of the human spirit from him. Watch the video at 6:30 until the end.
"Let's go meet the president of the unites states. She is your mother." What's so complex about this example of laughably bad writing?
Iwl this game intrigues me because it's so different. I don't mind slow burning and slow paced games as long as there's some incentive to them. I understand in online mode you can make use of routes built by others but how much of an extra "chore" does the game become if you play offline? I guess I'm asking which mode would you recommend? Also hope there's not a several hours long unskippable tutorial a la MGS 5.
I loved the game when it was a walking sim with horror elements. gorgeous landscapes and some chill music, but the more and more it became a 3rd person shooter I was getting bored of it. The new annoying fad is the whole " Directors cut " business. First it was death stranding ps4, then pc with extras and now the ps5 version will have even more new things and an improved melee system that i've heard PC is not getting. Its bad enough not buying a game at launch in case it needs to be fixed but now having it released over and over with more new stuff. meaning that if you played at launched you played a lesser version of a game is BS
Death Stranding: Director's Cut is coming to PC and will be one of the first titles to support Intel's new upscaling technology XeSS.
So the Director's Cut has been released and on Steam there is this listed: But all these 'features' are already in the normal edition. Is there more to the Director's Cut that affects gameplay?
Yeeeah, the amount of content and things they added does not justify purchasing the game on PC again at all. This should be a free upgrade for all existing owners. Bet they might even do that after a few months of milking anyone with disposable income.
I think people who already own the original game can get the DC for 9.99 Euro on Steam. Still, it's up to you if that's worth it...
Seems like Death Stranding is coming to GamePass PC. This will make it a great way to trying out the game. Source

Cyberpunk 2077 logo is shown on DS trailer on its EGS page at 21st second. Curious whether that's a getback for Kojimas cameo in 2077 or it's the next/last free game.
