Dead Rising is pretty... well, I won't say awful, but it's not a game I'm longing to replay.
The controls on the 360 for it are setup horribly. It's as if they tried to find the most convoluted way of setting them up just to annoy people.
And, after playing DR2 if you go back to the first one... it feels so limited and stiff.

Looks cool, I'll probably end up picking it if that crazy DLC comes out on PC.

They should also have added the street fighter pack.

It definitely seems like it has a lot of graphical options at least.

Awesome, lots of room for tweaking. Nice to see SMAA support.

It is certainly better that blurry FXAA but I hope it has MSAA as well so we can enhance it was SGSSAA for far superior anti-aliasing than any post-process effect can do.

    So...
Is the game capped at 30fps by default or is there an option to have it capped ?

    You have to disable it.

On a side note, I'm surprised Nv hasn't released a new driver for this game *shrugs*

Wow its going to be out on 5th Sept?

For some reason my brain stored 11th Sept as the release date. I see the recommended Req as a GTX670, hopefully my Living Room setup (560Ti-SLI) can run this game, because it looks more like a 'couch' game.

Got my boxed copy (on 4 discs!) yesterday but obviously Steam will not let me install it. I was going to pre-load it overnight but at 32 GB it would take around 8 hours so I figured I may as well just install it from the DVDs once it is officially released. It has actually been a while since I bought a boxed PC game but it was by far the cheapest option (the game cost me £20 and pence).

    1. Create a “user.ini” file in the same folder as deadrising3.exe (for Windows 8.1 users it’s located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common).
    2. Enter the following line in the file: “gmpcr_unlock_frame_rate = True” (no quotes).
