Everyone's entitled to their opinion, as incredibly incorrect as yours is, the game is fantastic.

Its not the best game ever and i can tell you Horizon is a better game but still decent and far from terrible.

I prefer Days Gone over HZD.
Which as it is my opinion makes it an absolute, unquestionable truth.

this post contains a smidgeon of sarcasm

Hey can anyone running an AMD card and preferably 21.5.1 driver - but any version will do - try the following out:

    - enable custom color in game properties and increase saturation, guess any value will do but I'm using 120

start the game and do you also now get, instead of increased saturation, just a red-tinted image?
As if only red channel had been altered?

Used to work up to the newest game patch, now this happens.

    @Undying @CPC_RedDawn @Grimbarian maybe?

Increased the saturation in global settings to 120 using the 21.5.2 driver game patch 1.04 and im not seeing it.

Thanks. Weird, it was preceded with me having issues with OBS, so maybe just some glitch.

Gonna try again but as I'm getting silent Radeon Software crashes constantly I'll revert to 21.3.2 for the time.

Works fine now, I did switch driver too but since it used to work must have been a glitch.

That or I somehow reset saturation and changed hue instead afterwards.

Its not gone. You had a different problem with system memory. Im surprised you even played it with only 8gb. Now when thats over you will still see a stuttering of different kind. Until then playing at high settings instead of very high and disabling anti lag in amd drivers helps alot.

LOU is one of the best games I've played. The multiplayer isn't too bad either. If any game needs to be ported to PC, it''s this one.

Im using it for a week now. Didnt help with stuttering and overall didnt notice much of detail improvement. Patch 1.04 added bike tracks on top of that.

This is the list of mods im using

Yea just tested it out, makes zero difference to stutter issues. Though I have noticed that lighting is a little nicer and fog/haze on the mountains is thicker other than that its still the same.

I must say though playing in Windowed Fullscreen does help with stutter on my end a little. This game could of seriously used a DX12 or Vulkun option.

I played the game for a few hours at a friends house yesterday and he has an RTX3090FE, a 5950X with 32GB 3600MHz RAM and a 2TB PCIE4 Nvme and the game was the exact same stuttery mess when driving. Even with the game on low settings it still stuttered. Hope the devs can bring a patch out that addresses the issue but I doubt this will ever get fixed. Really starting to think its a Ryzen CPU issue with this game.

Yeah noticed windowed fullscreen helps and i disabled radeon anti lag it also helped. Anyway i dont think its an amd issue or ryzen issue but like you said game would really benefit from dx12 or vulkan. On my 2700X cpu usage is barely 20%.
