c3d 5900 xt > sq fx3000

the newest 6600 gt are NOT softmodable ,i know this for a fact as i have bought one (club3d) and its an A4 version and there is nothing to do as all the tricks i found around here do NOT work on these cards.

maybe is you can get the earlyer version ,then it should work.

Trying to softmod a 440go (compaq laptop) to a quadro. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I'm a bit confused.

If it's a GeForce4 440Go, the last known patchable drivers for the GeForce 4 series are 42.51 (look in the FAQing stickies for a HowTo)

I'm considering an upgrade to a used GeForce FX 6800 U/NU (AGP 8x, of course),
is the "A4" revision the only one that is not moddable to Quadro FX 4000?

I have PCI-E 6600GT (NV43 A2)
Is posible?

order is:

1.- Install NVStrap
2.- Graphic Adapter: Quadro
3.- check use rom...
4.- Reboot.

but now... I have to install Quadro driver or Foreceware?

hi,

I am looking for a new card to get for my sys. I want to mod it to quadro since I use some cad progs. so I found out that the softquadro fx3000 only works for drivers up to 45.28. so what drivers can I use with a softmodded 6800?? and if it is already postet somewhere, sorry for not findig it myselve, but right now I am not able to.

OK, I am totally lost about this quadro thing, I have an EVGA 6800 GT and I will admit that I am unsure what the advantage of using the NV Straps are. I am ok with being a newb on this particular one.
