It looks incredible now, everything seems to have been improved and sharpened. I haven't noticed any low quality textures yet. Seems to be a bit more bumpmappyness too which adds to the feel of the models.
Yeah Death looks much improved now, even in the inventory section. And the surroundings look fantastic. Vigil gone done good.
If you have stutters in this game, you might wan't to try capping FPS to 60 with MSI afterburner, not sure if someone posted this already...
Bigtime, first of all; nobody loves you. so nobody answers your question. Second, u r ugly ugly and forever alone. Third; u started to play DARKSIDERS 1 and this time u gonna finish it!
Haha, pretty much true bigtime visuals are HD yes, the developers recently added in some form of AA and SSAO as well, you level up by killing enemies and completing quests no you can't use sword and shield combo, there is no blocking, but you can dodge
Me: Ahh. see biggy? there is someone who gives love to you. go and thank him1! Myself: you are right mate. Thank you Scatman! i think iam gonna buy PC version lol.
Anyone any tips on how best to take on the Lair of the Deposed King boss battle? I've fallen far behind it seems.
I couldn't kill him when I first arrived there, so I went back later (I was lvl 20 I think) to kill him.
I killed him at level 16. His attack pattern is actually pretty easy to learn, and the key is to stay behind him. If he manages to freeze you once... you're pretty much dead. It'll take a long time. He's got a ton of health, and you're basically just chipping away at it... but if you can stay behind him... he's not that challenging.
Finished the game today. Got to say, it starts really strong, but just steadily declines, the forge lands has to be the best area, the dead lands was just really visually bland and the others were ******
I'm stoked to see some others were reminded of the Soul Reaver games. Darksiders totally makes me think of them. To me, both series have the same awesome creepy vibe. And the stellar voice acting puts it over the top. The only complaint I have about Darksiders 2 is the deathgrip gear isn't consistent. I find that it misses far too often. I've had 176 deaths so far & 136 of them were environment ones. Most from the deathgrip not working. Alot of times the damn hook is right in front of Death & it misses. Lol
That tends to happen to me a lot too. Cue lots of !@?*£$$! At least the respawn points when it does happen are generous.
I was considering this game but then I saw some dodgy reviews for it, possibly from IGN. Would people here give it a recommendation?
Darksiders is a great game; very enjoyable/fun if you're a fan of Zelda type games with God of War combat. I would definitely recommend it even though it is not a classic or anything like that.
