I have been searching the web for seriously, I am not joking, 6 months to find out how to swap out models for unused ones such as the four kings sword and barbarian/bear armor. And I am still at a complete loss. I have the model Id's for the cut equipment, if it matters. I have tried to use cheat engine but it is so confusing because there is only one tut I found on youtube and it doesn't make any sense. I have seen someone look at unused stuff such as the mentioned gear using a debug menu. But as far as I know that's only for console. So if someone could help me out it would be a godsend. http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=556500&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 That Cheat-Engine table (Or the one by TechnoJacker - http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=556500&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=1350 - last post on that page.) should work with the game and allow you to switch a weapon or other piece of equipment to any other by using it's item ID. If it's in the game it should work (Like the Elite Cleric armor - http://darksouls.wiki.fextralife.com/Armor - bottom of the page.) but if it's just the assets then it would indeed require you to replace a existing model which I am not sure if it's possible. (There are mods but it's pretty much limited to replacing textures.) EDIT: This should also work for Dark Souls 2 however for that game the unused data (Barrel armor and some other stuff.) is not available to the player. (Won't work if you add it to the game via say Cheat-Engine.)
Thanks but that won't work because I need to replace an item's model into something else, not something into something else entirely. This would work if the cut gear im looking for was a finished item, but sadly, they're only models.
