It was a nice mmo in 2005/2006 with nice features but got down for copyright of engine...
They had to take down the server and not more dark and light in europe or usa...

Until... Snailgames, a chinese company, bought the rights of the engine to use it in a new Dark and light.. Mmorpg

Hope you enjoy the images, some are awesome!!!

Best of dnl was: the 15km view, and the hugest map in a sandbox/mmo with dragons going over 6000 meters or handglider/parachute , kingdoms pvp and no pvp, crafting, etc...

There isnt beta release or something but there is the images ingame!
And here a video of old 2006 dark and light mmo:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANcNT_H_cDs
The nice features was in the old dnl too (15km view, hugest map , handglider, dragons.. )

A video of 2010 showing some of dnl 2 chinese release! :

I doubt a single server will be enough if it becomes popular.

if it becomes popular and they attract a lot of people they will make sure they sort the servers out.

the weather n stuff looks kick ass, really hope they have multiple region servers tho, you know EU, USA, etc, running around on a server where most of the people only speak chinese or w/e would not be very fun.

bet its microtransaction based also with all them cool mounts and stuff only avaiable thru the stores.

does look graphically better than guild wars and tor by miles tho.

If it has solid anti-cheat protection and rewards playskills rather than out-of-game guild politics / boring epics-farming crap then I'll probably join. Nice graphics, by the way.

if this comes out 2011 overseas, that measn 2018 in the US. I'm just saying...
If it's not an MMO with a big production company or dev, you just have to realize that it will not get here in proper time. Look at SUN or Huxley, it took them forever to get to English, and when it was here, it just sucked.

Btw ... Its an unique server, like was the old dnl in 2006.
It was one of best features, like this new one incoming from chinese devs:)

We were said in 2006, it could handle around 200k players.
