@mbk1969 These, are without a doubt the best mods! https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/10150?tab=files https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/6452 https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/4843
i wish this game is as optimized as GTA 5... game tanks to 50 fps when using low rt even and when many npcs are around you....what a shame...
2012 game with minimal amount of traffic and pedestrians vs 2020 game with much more stuff on screen, super detailed npcs, ray tracing further updated 3 years later... Maybe it's time you upgrade your system if you want to get better visuals. Saying the red engine is unoptimized is bullsh*t. It uses resources really well, specially on the CPU side.
The game is very scalable, its fine at max settings on a 4090, as it should be. Nobody should expect a game that is scaled for top notch visuals to be smooth on a mid range system unless mid level settings are used.
Yeah, with framegen off it seems to run at a stable 60 fps (vsync) @ 5k all settings to ultra + RT on my 4090.
Did you try limiting the framerate via NVCP assuming you have g sync. Lately I've been doing this in games as I prefer a more constant frame time than frame rate
Isn't RTSS better for a more constant frame time? It seems to keep frametime way more stable for me than other FPS limiters like in-game and nvcp.
Lets face facts, 2020 CP2077 was a sh** show. GTAV even from 2012 was a far better game and an actual finished product.
On console at launch, sure. Not on PC. The visuals were crazy good, only a few games had such an impression on me. GTA wasn't one of them back then. And it also ran well with maxed out details if you had the HW. But it was lacking on many other aspects, AI and cut content above all. On a side note comparing gta to cyberpunk was and is in my opinion nonsense. Different games, different scopes. So yeah, CP was a sh*t show but for other reasons that have nothing to do with what we're talking about.
Ive not had an issue to be honest and ive been using NVCP on COH3, DCS, FC6 and now CP2077 and my FT is constant. Im probably keeping the frame rate a bit low considering its a 4090 but for me in say FC6, 100fps looks way better than 60fps but no different from 120fps. I generally look at the absolute lowest framerate i get in the most demanding scenario and set my max frames to that, yes ive got loads of headroom and probably some wasted performance capacity but i dont notice to be honest.
I don't think he is comparing the kind of game, rather the quality of the end product as it was released.
Yea Cyberpunks launch was a disaster, especially if you tried to play it on last gen consoles. Thankfully the game finally feels fixed and complete after the 2.0 update. But that was still disappointing for CD Projekt to release a game in this state, I won't be buying their next game on day one until I watch a lot of reviews.
