Just tested out DLSS Quality vs Balanced as not really bothered to see what's different since Quality ran so well anyway, in this area of Dog Town: https://imgsli.com/MjEwMjQw That's a 16fps gain with image quality that appears identical.
I like the game but I don't understand why some of the reflections look really crap, like in the elevators the adverts don't reflect properly if you look in the opposite window, is there a way to fix that ? Such a bipolar game visually, looks the nuts but some oddities mess it up, like enemies clipping through walls and doors. Its basically a good advert for lighting and that's it (though I do love the scale of the city). Can't complain about the performance, runs really well but that's no doubt to extreme optimization in well enemies clipping and dodgy looking reflections.
Dear Gurus, I got the expansion and had a little question: I've got two saves, one where I've finished the main game and another one where I started anew with a different character - this is the save I've been playing for the past few days. I wanted to play the expansion so I tried loading up my old save as I thought finishing the game was a requirement. Unfortunately this save is not compatible and crashes the game, so I'm stuck with my new save (which is fine really). Now to my question - I noticed that you can start the expansion even if you're low level like I am. Will I be able to start the exp now, finish it and then finish the main game?
Enjoying the game so far had 1 rare crash while i let a grenade explode on a group of enemies. But it might be my old save aswell i dont know. But yeah good dlc good vibes and atmosferic feeling. Looks really sharp and clear to without dlss [just native] Noticed also a few more bugs here and there after the 2.0 update some side jobs i cant finish because a certain door is locked when it normally should be open xD This update got some issues with crashes tho. Its also sensitive to overclocking and undervolting becareful with that. https://steamcommunity.com/app/1091500/discussions/7/3875967397710783502/
They still haven't fix some other old bugs, like delivering to a drop point one wherein the item won't drop but it shows the trade menu itself. Before patch 2.0, i was able to getaway with my GPU undervolt but after the update it became more unstable and had to tweak it to a more stable level so yeah
I've got a quest called "Phantom Liberty" in my log so I assume it's there since I've already done Animals Storyline in a previous save?
You'll get a call from Songbird once you complete your objectives with the Voodoo Boys which then allows you to jump into Dog Town.
Patch 2.01 coming soon Created 6 hours ago Updated 4 hours ago Hey, chooms! We want to give you a heads-up that Patch 2.01 will be coming soon. Here's a list of most important fixes and improvements that will be included there: The distorted effect caused by selecting a specific dialogue option when talking to Johnny at the end of Automatic Love will no longer persist on the screen. V will no longer die in The Heist by falling through the elevator when riding to the 42nd floor with low FPS. Fixed an issue where the UI could show controller inputs when playing with keyboard and mouse. Made it possible to properly switch to arms cyberware by cycling through weapons. Gig: Breaking News will be properly triggered after approaching the quest area. Vehicle radio volume will be adjusted so it's not too quiet when compared to other sounds in the game. Addressed the issue of corrupted saves on PlayStation by increasing the maximum save file size limit. Note: this won't fix the saves corrupted before the update. If you're experiencing the issue, keep a working save (e.g. resave it as manual save) till 2.01 arrives. Performance improvements for both PC and consoles, especially in the Dogtown area. Remember that these are just the highlights, so stay tuned for more details!
Have feeling updates will be perpetual as Nvidia will use the game to showcase future GPU releases. CDPR will naturally give in to Nvidias money and influence. Expect patch 3.0, a new DLC and new RT modes to come out when RTX 5xxx series released next year.
No the game is dead barring fixes. They are moving on from REDengine to Unreal 5 for good reason. https://www.pcgamer.com/cyberpunk-2...o-unreal-engine-5-isnt-starting-from-scratch/
Yeah and UE5 now supports all of Nvidia's tech anyway so Nvidia will have even more titles to show off whatever they work on next.
