Once they release psycho RT I'm going for a full playthrough, game isn't that long anyway. With the fancy texture patch @Horus-Anhur linked!
Same for me. I'm looking forward to witness the visuals and playing the DLC. My 4090s are starting to see some tough titles that make them sweat. I'm glad that DLSS is constantly improving. The latest builds finally deliver a picture that is real close to looking like native resolution. I truly feel we have some good gaming times ahead of us.
Sure but the perceived difference is huge Especially since the game doesn't run well on my system otherwise (with RT that is).
So I can’t get GeForce experience game filters working with this game anymore. It says the game is unsupported. I used to use filters with no problem so wtf is going on here?
So...after a few months (long story) I finally finished building my new PC with a 7700X and ASUS 3080 TUF card. One of the first games I tested was Cyberpunk and was pleasantly surprised at how nicely it ran. Maxed out with psycho RT and quality DLSS the game hovers mostly between 50-60 fps with the occasional dips into the mid 40's...but even then it feels very smooth for whatever reason. Has there been more optimisation by CDPR or NV recently? Game feels smoother than when I was playing with my 2070S with RT turned off and a few settings turned down to keep fps at ~60. Side note the ASUS TUF card is really impressive...even at 100% usage temp hovers at ~65 degrees and is so quiet...unlike the jet engine that was my old Gigabyte 2070S card.
That level of performance doesn’t make any sense for the settings you’re talking about. I have to run at greatly compromised settings at DLSS performance in order to get a steady 60 with the 3080 and 5900x. I guess you didn’t state your resolution though, I’m running 4k. If I max everything out with DLSS quality the game is completely unplayable, a slideshow.
RTX Path Tracing incoming https://wccftech.com/cyberpunk-2077...h-tracing-utilizing-nvidia-rt-overdrive-tech/
Probably more future facing feature since i assume even 4090s won't be too playable with pathtracing game of this size. Which is curious given how engine is officially a dead end past this project.
I just downloaded a huge mod for Cyberpunk and I'm having fun playing with the visuals. I'm currently trying out the Final Cut mod and the work is detailed from a collection of modders. Some of the work is fantastic. This definitely gives the game a fresh new look. It's kinda fun flying around on my hovercycle. Lol. I'm very impressed with the high resolution textures and the lighting. The game looks even more lifelike and realistic. The modders are very creative with the signs and tattoos. Even the intro playing at high res is impressive. Lol I'm playing this on my Intel build and the framerate stays above 65fps with max settings and DLSS on Quality. The next mod I'm going to try is Welcome to Night City.
When does that big dlc story singleplayer comes ? i cant wait for that one. Btw this game runs extreme smooth on 3080 10 gb with rt on and dlss quality. Mind u pyscho still kills fps even on a 4090 lol. But besides pyscho it runs like a charm.
I gotta disagree with you on this one fellow Guru. I run max/psycho settings all the time and with DLSS on Quality. My 4090s in both builds give great framerates with Cyberpunk. Right now I'm playing with a mod that includes higher resolution textures over the default game and my frames never dip below mid 60s. Depending on what location I'm in, sometimes the fps will hit high 70s to low 80s. This is @4k resolution.
They've been working for a long time on it and I doubt that video is actually showing all the new stuff they introduced in the engine. it is more like a showcase for dlss 3 than anything else. i'd rather wait and see with my own eyes. But i appreciate your optimism lol
4K actual FPS cyberpunk 2077 in city areas with DLSS off avg 40FPS from my testing but there are people who swear and post screenshots of the CPU and GPU that get 100+FPS. Tested on GPU's with CPU's Intel 10850K/12600K/12900K/13700KF/AMD 7700X and maybe a few more I forgot about Average RTX 4090 -40FPS-45FPS RTX 4080 -30FPS-37FPS RTX 3090 -25FPS-30FPS RTX 3080 -15FPS-25FPS 4K DLSS city area by water 12600K/RTX 4090
Imagine having a 4090 and get that fps without downscaling from 4k to 1440p lol, when u do need to use dlss lol.
