IMhO Best upgrade route is to buy every 2nd gen. 3080Ti is good for me now, i will consider 5090 for sure. I think NV next move will be DLSS3 for every RTX Then it will be t'end of Radeon for sure.... Imagine 3080Ti in CP2077 RT Psycho at 120FPS
They deffo wont give dlss3 to everyone, eventhough they easily could, as that's part of the sales pitch for that awful deal called 4080.
I'm with Dragam on this one. They won't release DLSS3 for any card before Ampere at best, but yeah, would be neat.
If you watch LTTs Anthony's review of the RTX 4090, they could not reliably run tests on DLSS 3.0 with a preview build of Cyberpunk because of constant crashes. That included the FE model and ALL the AIB models they had at hand. Skip to the section starting at the 6:30 mark. "" If the state of the build was so bad for the press reviews, I assume they still had a lot of work ahead of them to get it stable for release. Not to mention continuing to work on the pending issues and preparing the code for the upcoming DLC. It is a good thing for them that they did not state a release date this time.
This is driving me crazy. I'm getting insane stuttering on my Alienware laptop, no matter what graphics settings I'm running. Every 2 seconds I get GPU usage drop to 10-20%, and without drops it never goes to above 60%. Even on lowest settings I would get high FPS, but every to second GPU usage will still drop and cause stuttering. This is Fresh and Clean Install of Windows, no bloatware, latest drivers. Other games have no problem, just finished PORTAL RTX super smooth 0 stuttering.... CPU not maxed out (isn't bottlenecking) TEMPs are in acceptable range GPU usage is Very LOW Game run off fast SSD AC is always plugged in I was able to Fix this problem using Park Control for CPU. Game run super smooth 0 suttering 99% GPU usage, i got through some missions. But now I'm getting this problem again. Park Control doesn't help anymore.
Hi, just a blank shot - try power scheme "Power saver". I had similar problems in the new Witcher 3 and only this fixed them.
I just hope the expansion isn’t a dumpster fire performance wise. After the recent Witcher 3 update I’m not exactly filled with confidence.
One doesn't translate to the other at all. I highly doubt the expansion performance would differ in either way too much from the base game. W3 upgrade is a victim of sloppily trying to make major changes to the engine to adapt for technologies that it was never intended to run in the first place.
Does what it was advertised to do, better than i expected. Still this doesn't even include the whole "RT Overdrive" preset thing so i guess time to shelve game for another 6 months before they add that.
