It dynamically low-resses "less important" stuff. Most people probably won't even notice or don't care.

    How is it "in motion"?

It looks better than headache- and eye strain-inducing FXAA at least...

There are definitely artifacts in both images. The top image increases detail around the outer molding for the windows, and the top floor in the distant building (dead ahead) the detail of the door outline is increased instead of being blurred. These are scenarios where the ground truth can be improved.
I agree this detail won't be noticed in game unless you have to stop and observe some remote location for some clue or something.

It's got an effect that looks a bit like screen motion blur. But not as bad as that.

The ones who don't notice or don't care aren't the ones who buys a 4k monitor - because if you buy a 4k monitor, then you obviously do care about image quality, otherwise you'd would be at 1080p, or maybe 1440p... and dlss is hardly needed at lower resolutions, so the whole point of dlss is kinda mute.

It is terribad in motion - it induces all sorts of artifacts and blur.

I doubt anyone is using fxaa at this point.

I'd say it's even worse. And i HATE blur.

True 4K DLSS quality is superior to 16K Native. :p

Some could also be confusing it with AMD's own Radeon HD 6800 Series from around 10 years ago as well. ;)

It actually does make sense, considering that console versions of Cyberpunk 2077 that will be released at the same time as the PC version will be versions for PS4 and Xbox One without raytracing. While these versions will be playable on PS5/Xbox Series X/S basically via backward compatibility, the proper "Next Gen" versions/updates of the game - which is supposed to include Raytracing among other improvements - is scheduled to be be released sometime in early 2021. That's when the consoles are scheduled to get Raytracing on their AMD hardware, and it would make sense if one would assume the PC version would get Raytracing on AMD Hardware patched in around that time as well.

I myself never noticed blurring with DLSS. For all its problems blurring is NOT one of them.
Quite the contrary: When downscaling from those 8k or 16k supersampled SSAA images, NV went overboard with sharpening in some of DLSS implementation. IMHO it did so because it listened to those very vocal "ground inspectors" from different forums.
For example look at War Thunder images/videos and you'll see what i'm talking about. It's not bad over-sharpening but they could have got away with less.

On topic, Ray Tracing is nice but it does not matter to me as a deal breaker.
Dont care too much for RT until racing games adopt it for lighting on the cars, lights etc.

I can't believe this recommended specs. They must have optimized the game to the bones.

    4K + RayTracing Ultra: i7-6700 ?!

    WatchDog Legion recommended i9-9900K !

Lol when I think of unoptimized mess I think of watchdogs. It's basically part of the branding.

Honestly looking at the gameplay trailers and stuff of CP2077, the graphics don't look that outstanding.. the city looks cool and dense but the character/car models, textures, etc all look fairly average. I'm not really that surprised the system requirements are low.

That's okay, almost nobody will have RX 6000 GPU's when it launches.

Got to say i'm massively surprised and pleased they're not asking for a 8 cores CPU for Ultra preset.

    Hype!

I would be better if it can make use of more than 8 threads though.

Well, we can´t forget this game is going to be available on the PS4 and Xbox One, so it as to be optimized for "weaker" hardware.

I think this is positive because i´m tired of games asking for super high end software in exchange for average graphics...

Actually, I do agree with some here. The PS4 leak didn't impress me at all and actually looks last-gen. Certainly not what the showcases have shown us. Really weird as some videos pre-leak looked really good, some not so good. I hope the PC version hasn't been down-graded.

Isn't PS4 kind of last gen. And very old last gen?

Well, it's open-world so I guess that's the way it is.

However, PS4 Pro/PS5 makes me more optimistic.

Problem is in what they said. PS5 gets to run it via backward compatibility. And they'll add "next-gen" patch for PS5 later.
So, people can expect PS4 Pro visuals on PS5, just better performance.
