Only pathetic no worrying no lifers shall play this wtf game. I finished witcher 3 twice when it did become GOTY with all patches and dlcs. I'll do the same with cyberpunk 2077. I won't pay for an unfinished game.

I guess I'll wait for Tseeberpunkin's release and see what the 2080TI can do with ray tracing and DLSS, an then decide on the next GPU buy. Was the plan after all, just seems more clear now that the features aren't there from the start with the AMD cards.

Still curious to see how long it will take until the next gen version is live, since I guess then RT on AMD tech will come as well for the PC GPUs.

Why not? Do consoles have raytracing on amd hardware? Very questionable decisions from cdpr maybe its time they delay the game again.

I dont care for ray tracing. Just hope for 100fps+ on my 6800 ultra settings

When you look at the non-RT requirements, it seems to demand more from AMD hardware than Nvidia. It's going to be a heavily Nvidia optimised on PC, which means they needed to build the graphics engine twice: once for the consoles, once for the PC. Even though in reality AMD RT is missing in the beginning due to their deal with Nvidia, I also wouldn't be surprised if it's simply also challenging to implement because the engine will run inefficiently on AMD GPUs. The AMD RT is a lot weaker than Nvidia's, to boot, which certainly would require additional optimisation to not make it unplayable with AMD RT turned on.

I understand it's very attractive for game studios to make a deal with either Nvidia or AMD, but it also means extra work, so it's not entirely free money.

Same, i dont give a rats arse about raytracing OR dlss... screenspace reflections will look just fine, just as they do in all other games.

I want 60 fps at native 4k with ultra settings.

I am 99,9% sure it's because the requirements listed by cd project red includes the use of dlss... otherwise it makes no sense. But with dlss, it makes perfect sense... even if it is super lame, and comparing apples to oranges.

My only concern about the game is how good it´s going to be. I care little for RT at this point, so no problem for me.

So I've put my order in for a RTX 3080. I will get it on 4 December just in time to experience RT Ultra in Cyberpunk 2077. I literally can't wait.

The 6800 pitiful RT performance dim it not worthy to optimize cyberpunk for...

fortunately without Ray tracing for the AMD 6800 otherwise they would have to play at 15 FPS :D:D

RDNA2 will be fully supported with ray tracing around the same time that next-gen consoles will be fully supported in early 2021.
