    HH nice review
I Hope DLSS is added to this review as it is a key hardware feature for NVidia hardware,
I don't agree with apples to apples comparisons as NVidia is an Orange and Amd is a Pear different hardware different drivers they even do what they do in a different way. I bought a NVidia GPU
as it had DLSS that would improve performance when the GPU needs a boost and cyberpunk 2077 needs a boost.

I was just finishing up on that, added to the last page of the article.

I remember the system requirements being pretty low so how come the performance is this bad?

Maybe enabling certain graphical details results in need to calculate extra data for them.

I'll bite. The lower one, by far. Passion sign to the left is sharper cleaner, the green line in front shows inaccuracies, the M sign to the upper right is properly lit with corresponding shadows. And I can see raytraced reflections on the lower image and the monorail in the middle shows RT shadows. The store windows in the middle show RT reflection, the upper photo does not as that looks like a rasterized reflection.

It would SUCK if I am wrong though, haha.

You are absolutely correct in the lower one being rtx + dlss, while the upper one is 4k native.

Imo arguments can be made for both - native has overall better image clarity, and non of the dlss issues, but does have generally speaking inferior lighting, shadows and reflections. However, with raytracing there appears to be some issues with insides of buildings being too bright at times, and underside of buildings being bright and not shadowed as you'd expect. If you look beneath the brain wash sign, you'd expect the underside of that building with the tubes to be shadowed, like on the 4k native image, but with raytracing actually lights up.

The first one, again, just 'mo.

    Can you spoiler these please?

Did you do that video? The editing was dreadful - it was like' nearly everytime I skipped to go past your menu system, you were 1.4 miliseconds away from going back into a menu.

If you added a title card, or, overlay to say "1080P" or something and then, cut to that, and then cut away to another title card like "CITY" or "Openspace" or "Day/Night comparison" just something other than what you did.

I guess what I'm saying is, it was like watching someone else play with settings for something, and that is just not interesting viewing.

    Jus' sayin'.

When displayed on my 1080p screen => downsampled images to 1080p, upper image had more accurate lighting, shadows, GI, ... (I guess raytracing ON with DLSS.)

When I magnified it to 1:1 pixel ratio to see same detail level as you do on your screen. Lower image had finer details on objects, and upper one showed some edge/transparency artifacting (noise/dither like).

But more noticeable are weird things like:
That something which reminds me of GPU based geometry artifacts which is between "MarkX24" and "We can Help" billboards.
Or that that group of people standing just a bit to right is missing all details. Low polygon count and super low texture details.

I would likely go with 1440p screen and used similar settings that you have on upper image which is likely 1440p rendering => DLSS to 4K. That would take care of artifacts. And as can be seen, it even delivered better fps.

weird cause from my experience dlss q makes text clearer, however, here the mark24 sign looks worse
all other text is fine tho, which makes me think dlss 2.0 is still prone to just straight missing some part of the screen
it happened a lot with dlss 1.9,got a lot better with 2.0,but apparently there still could be an odd object missed here and there

    Great tests.
Suggestion: RTX features with a single GPU. To compare the performance costs between RTX Shadows, Reflections, and Lighting (which has its own levels).

hmm 1080ti is barely pushing 55 fps at @ 1080p on ultra what how much diffrence is there with high vs ultra obvisouly i wont be using RT or DLSS dont think it support on my card

IF i cant get 1080p@ 60 fps with atlest high then I guess I gona be waiting till I get better pc/gpu or I get my hands on ps5
