easter eggs in some of these games these days are just plain lazy. i dont think even many today have them as much as used to but wish they'd do something like secret levels n such
but yeah, that ending was pretty retarded imo. and i definitly wouldnt hunt for hidden objects just for something like that. but whatever floats
