Crysis Very Boring game?!

Crysis seems to be one of those games that can only be loved or hated by those who played it. In my case i loved it and i think that it´s one of the best FPS ever alongside Half Life 1, Halo 1 and Doom. The best of the game are the visuals that some think they are weak (go figure...), the technical prowess of the game that allows the player to shoot down trees and some buildings, to destroy specific parts of vehicles (tires, gas tank),etc and the the gameplay in an sandbox world that with the help of the nanosuit creates some amazing moments. The worst of the game are the story, weak and cliche (like 95% of the games including Bioshock, that copies the story from System Shock2), the nanosuit auto health repair, that made the game too easy, even in Delta mode, the aliens that are cool but not powerfull enough and the the last section of the game that starts on the plane level and continues on the carrier, that last part really kills the game, it´s so stupid and boring, just fighting aliens on tight corridors, like all the other shooter, and an huge final boss, that´s so easy to defeat...

Can´t wait for Crysis 2!!! Just hope they don´t **** the game because of consoles!

I think crysis games are some of the best, even tho Jericho is clearly the best FPS ever created.

 

I enjoyed the eye candies of Crysis but hated the overheating it caused to my old X1950XT. The story is terrible but no one really expected good storytelling from it in the first place.
The lack of co-op campaign could be a blowing factor for the campaign mode.

 

Its ok but i prefered warhead

 

I really enjoy Crysis but I didn't liked Warhead. Crysis opening scene is Epic. The only thing that I hate in Crysis is the Harbor Level that Psycho doesn't help you, it just stands there.

As for Jericho I really enjoy that game, fantastic setting and atmosphere.

I stopped playing Crysis after i done the Core level, was good up till then, but that level ruined the game, absolute crap that.

 

I still can't get over North Korea having such advanced technology, it really makes me laugh. It took me days to get past the alien bit, I just couldn't play it. I have never seen such ridicule in a game.

 

The thread title shouldn't have a question mark. Ok, the graphics in Crysis are amazing, but I personally find games like Pac Man and Donkey Kong and even Pinball machines have more gameplay, require more skill, thought and are way more exciting.

 

Well not too much. I just hope it uses quad cores and DX11 cards that's it.

 

don't count on it
they making this console oriented now ,so new one is going to be less demanding ,the pc still going to look better , but don't think they are going to make a totally different one for pc
however if somebody can prove me wrong ,I be happy

 

I can get over with master chief having such advanced technology.

From the videos they show at Eyefinity event it looks better and runs better. Knowing Crytec For sure they will make it look better.

 

the game is not boring... its just there is no developers try to use the engine to make new games based on its technology!

crysis is the best technology by far!

i rememebr Drug wars is using crytek engine ! so thank you guys for the effort who made drug wars!

yes.. i dont know why people intend to buy games that use outdated DX9 console ports..
like CODMW2...even if it costs $50!! money making games.. thats what it should be called...

i am a 3D guru... almost the games i own are the same level is my pc... DX10/DX11 only games...

i never support developers to make more dx9 console ports games...

i built my pc for the sake of technological advacments becasue we are 3d gurus...

i dont want to make fun of my pc by playing DX9 outdated console ports..
