How is 2gb VRAM gonna be enough for this game especially with all the folks that go for AA by the barrel load? *talking to 600 series owners here.
But yes, but where the hell is warface already, Crytek? Remember - warface first, THEN C3.

I built a 2x 580 & 2500k rig for Crysis 2, the MP was very fast and the Mycrysis forum is still always active.

 

It should be fine, there really isn't anything out that pushes over except the insane amount of mods on Skyrim people throw on, and the most I've seen that at is 2.5.
I don't think C3 will be any better than C2 tbh.

I never really considered Crysis to be a game you play for the gameplay anyway. Its reputation is built on the fact that its pretty, that's enough. Every generation needs a good benchmark game.

 

Looks nice from those tiny pictures, hope it is fun to play. C2 was a decent shooter at the very least.

 

On small pictures everything looks good.

Looks like another Crysis 2, no sea & jungle like the first two...

 

I'll pick it up in the bargain bin.

 

I'll get it for $3 about 3 months after release when Steam has a sale on it.

 

Pretty screens don't mean jack unless the final product supports proper AA.

You can have all the high rez textures an pretty lights and dof all you want but without AA it just looks horrible, in fact imo I find that the more detail in a game the worse it looks without AA.

Oh an yeah might pick it up when it's going for 5-10 bucks.

2gbs easily enough, the 360 and PS3 don't have that much.

Seriously though, the last few years have had way too many FPS games and I personally have started to grow quite tired of them. Graphics can only take a game so far and even that lost most of it's novelty pretty soon after the original crysis hit the stores.

 

Well 2Gb should be enough...

Skip that, I want to see all at high res. They could actually look like sh!t. Who knows?

C3 will support all types of AA including TXAA. One of the devs talked about it a while back.

 

hehe, i'll be pre-ordering, i had some fun with the russian warface beta, Crytek's in-game sounds are incredible, also they trailblaze when it comes to graphics, so for that they get my upfront support. (i'm gonna buy my 3rd copy of C2 on steam once i secure a GPU with more vram than 1.5gb).
