    CryTek fail.

You release a demo, MP only, DX9 only. The demo was going to be a Benchmark tool! Now, DX9 only, it useless!

No SP Demo? Lame. I remember when games used to have SP & MP Demos. AVP2 had 1 Demo for MP, and 3 SP Demos for each race, and even released demos of the updated versions later on.

We get so shat on these days. Rarely do you see a "updated" demo, with the latest patches.

How about just the option to turn that godawful Temporal AA off?

    It's

    variable: r_PostMSAA
    type: int
    current: 1
    help: Enables amortized multisampling.
    Usage: r_PostMSAA [0/1]1: 2x quincunx, 2: 4xmsaa

    So "0" should work.
("r_PostMSAA = 0" minus the " " stuff in system.cfg in the main Crysis2 or MPDemo directory, this is a very subtle and nearly unnoticeable effect though but other blur methods are also active such as the light depth of field effect in the time-of-day, or ToD for short, data in the actual levels.)

    variable: r_DepthOfField
    type: int
    current: 2
    help: Enables depth of field.
    Usage: r_DepthOfField [0/1/2]
Default is 0 (disabled). 1 enables, 2 hdr time of day dof enabled

    For Depth of field.

    variable: cl_fov
    type: float
    current: 55
    help: field of view.

    For FoV

    variable: r_FSAA DUMPTODISK, REQUIRE_APP_RESTART
    type: int
    current: 0
    help: Enables multisampled antialiasing.
    Usage: r_FSAA [0/1]
    Default: 0 (off).

    variable: r_FSAA_quality DUMPTODISK, REQUIRE_APP_RESTART
    type: int
    current: 0
help: Quality level used when multisampled antialiasing is enabled.
Usage: r_FSAA_quality N (where N is a number >= 0). Attention, N must be supported by given video hardware!
Default: 0. Please note that various hardware implements special FSAA modes via certain combinations of
    r_FSAA_quality and r_FSAA_samples. See config/FSAAProfiles*.txt for samples.

    variable: r_FSAA_samples DUMPTODISK, REQUIRE_APP_RESTART
    type: int
    current: 4
help: Number of subsamples used when multisampled antialiasing is enabled.
Usage: r_FSAA_samples N (where N is a number >= 0). Attention, N must be supported by given video hardware!
Default: 4. Please note that various hardware implements special FSAA modes via certain combinations of
    r_FSAA_quality and r_FSAA_samples. See config/FSAAProfiles*.txt for samples.

For AA (Didn't work in the beta build thing though even with PostMSAA off.)

    variable: r_UseEdgeAA
    type: int
    current: 3
    help: Toggles edge blurring/antialiasing
    Usage: r_UseEdgeAA [0/1/2/3]
    Default is 1 (edge blurring)
1 = activate edge blurring mode
2 = activate edge antialiasing mode (previous version)3 = activate Laplace edge antialiasing mode

For that edge-aa effect. (Again it didn't work even with Post and FSAA off in the beta.)

I took a closer look at the MP build Sirius, it doesn't read a system.cfg file (Or Autoexec.) nor does it allow direct input via a shortcut for most commands either so it's locked down pretty heavily. (Single archive somewhat protected file as well so can't be edited from there or you could alter the cfg files directly to force the game to load those changes.)

Instead it stores all data in the profile folder now (C:\Users\Username\Savegames\Crysis2 or MPDemo depending on what you are using and then a number of xml files for your profile, all of them encrypted due to it using those sort of settings instead of the un-encrypted values via sys_UsePlatformSavingAPIEncryption = 0 )

Haven't checked if someone posted this before:
GPU comparison for Crysis 2 on Geforce.com HERE.

Runs MUCH better than Metro 2033 and Crysis: WH at the highest in-game settings.

You want us to compare Crysis 2 environments to bunch of rocks and palms? Crysis 2 wins there in my opinion.

The aim assist is for 360 pads only. Not the mouse.

But it works with the mouse to.

if I turn it on, my shots auto-correct by a tiny bit, off, they don't, so regardless.
