I'm also missing some vehicle based gametypes..
Would be nice to have a "onslaught" (like in Unreal Tournament) MP gametype in Crysis. I know nothing's optimized yet, although, the games are sooo unbalanced

There is vehicle support, co-op support and much more, several map specific modes and game types also from what I can see (Survival, deathmatch, attack & defend with one team not having suits and more.) although I obviously have no idea how it's implemented in the actual game.

EDIT: From the DumpCMDCvars or what the command was.

    variable: g_multiplayerEnableVehicles
    type: int
    current: 1
    help: Enable vehicles in multiplayer

    variable: pl_melee.damage_multiplier_mpNoSuit
    type: float
    current: 1.5
help: Damage multiplier for melee attacking somebody who has no Nanosuit in Multiplayer (eg. the Defenders in Assault)

    variable: g_wavesLimit
    type: int
    current: 3
help: Max number of waves in a game of survival. Default is 3

    variable: coop_respawn_time
    type: int
    current: 15
help: Time until player gets auto-respawned in Coop.

    variable: sv_gamerules
    type: string
    current: SinglePlayer
help: The game rules that the server should use

(Plus several hundred other MP related commands, too much to post.)

nobody is pirating this, a crytek or EA employee 'gifted' it to the world. Besides its not a finished anything, its a random jumble of data as far as Im concerned untill it is finished, someone downloading the finished gold copy of the game is pirating, there is a difference. All anyone here is doing is downloading a bunch of broken files and some working ones, that is all this is.

Agreed but it is as good as, and is a good analogy for what is going on.

For instance, did the person downloading the material pay for it? The answer is obviously no, did the owner of the copyright agree to the download, again the answer is no. Has the owner of the copyright failed to be paid for an item they produce, obviously yes. That's akin to theft in my book.

Ever let a friend borrow a game?

It's the same. A person who uploads it for others to download, is not selling it, he is sharing the game he bought. Just with alot more than one friend. I see nothing wrong with it, but I also realize nothing I say can change your minds, oh well.

if it weren't for the pirate version of Crysis , I would never have bothered getting the Original Crysis and Crysis Warhead..
So pirating has many different result not simply put "loss to a company" it could also be "marketing for a company" and "potential sale to a company", it's not easy to paint , in either direction.

It's easy to imagine or ponder , drool over the zillion pirates being a gazillion in loss to a company but come on , like as if...

You now have steam , online play... is the gaming world not growing for the benefit of companies..

A pirate might try COD 4 , Black Ops , BFBC2 and then buy one of them according to his preference but still publicly market the other titles or familiarize more and more people towards wanting those games..
I know so many people who've bought a pirate of one game on the xbox 360 and ended up buying the original on a different platform..
I still think companies are to be blamed in the end.

If u cant afford a Ferrari your most likely to stop thinking of buying it..
If I cant buy a jet , I'm sure I am not going to spend the rest of my life trying to buy one , maybe a very rare few out there will but I dont want to and am sure most never will..
I believe such material examples fail on the most point..
There's always a balance some where , no pirating has pros but it can also have many cons.

(EDIT , easier to read now hopefully)

To be honest i only played the first 10 mins of the beta and deleted as i couldnt get it to run right at-all, but i will say that it has hyped me up for the game much more than i was before, Crytek should have released a SP demo for people to try.

I love the fact that it actually pushes hardware and crytek are actually trying to push the PC industry in the right direction, and they deserve my money for that reason alone.

Dont get me wrong a love my PS3 and 360 but a game that actually uses our rigs in my mind is something i have to have.

gridiron whirlw: I suppose that's your way of saying you find what I just said , pointless and stupid because people generally find flaws in other people's writing skills mostly when they want to cause minor insult , displaying a from of retaliation to what I said , maybe...
thank you for pointing out what ever mistake you saw me making but I'm sure you have better things to do , then correcting an uneducated man's english in a forum on the internet where people hardly ever use correct english :)
But thanks anyway I will try my best not to give guys like you headaches by my writing and lack of spacing. :)

I dont think it was anything personal, it does make things difficult to read when there isnt any spaces, i still can read what you wrote just takes a little longer.

I was just saying that it is hard to read all clumped together like that.

I did not even read it for that reason.

It was in no way a personal attack on you for what you wrote, as I said.....I did not even read it.

Playing the leaked version convinced me into buying C2.

And by the time the game is released, i should have a new GPU and a new screen, to play this game in all it´s glory!!!
