I wonder if the online is still a pain in the arse to join a game, since buying the game I've only played about 15 minutes online, in which time I was kicked from the server as "connection lost". Funny, only happens in Crysis 2 .

Well I have the Steam version. Waited for it to up date. Nothing happened. So I started the game and still nothing happened. Can't tell any difference.

How do I find out my version number in game?

probably means pre-patch sometimes if you died, when you came back, you could no longer melee, and it has fixed that

It seemn that fixing the buggy multiplayer is more important than fixing bugs in the A.I. / graphics and other stuff related to the single player campain. Sure thing is Crysis 2 will be far from "Game of The Year".

Crossfire problem? Well, to make the things worse a crossfire issue, it seems. They should release a decent 1GB DirectX 11 patch for all of us gamers who spent so much money in new hardware. In 2011 and still DirectX 9 is at its height. Absurd!

Blame these developer making this multi play games that are really just use ports of the console game for the pc..

Side note has anyone dug around in the ini files for the game and noticed any ps3/360 codes or references still in them?

The problem started when game developers didn't got enough revenue out of the PC market. I'd say we should blame the pirates or all the other people that don't want to spend their money.

well by that logic the crazy DRM developers started putting there PC games is the reason for that, but that besides the point.

If it multi platform it and on the pc, then there 90% chance the PC version is nothing more then port of the console version , and we be lucky if it uses any DX above 9.

The way things are going with Crytek: Crysis 3 will be 2D, black and white and will be ported from a Wii or pocket calculator and Crysis 4 will be a printed cardboard that you can hang on the wall or toss around. :)
