    Goodmorning all.
    Yesterday I switched to SSDs! I bought 2x Crucial MX100. 128GB and 256GB.

EDIT: I installed them to the wrong SATA ports. New benchies in later post. :)

    Here are (old) some benchies.

tbh I think you were better off with 1 large ssd. Unless you wanted the 128gb for an os drive.

OP switch to intel sata ports, those scores are kinda low. Then install intel ahci drivers

Looking at those ssd on newegg, you would need the 512gb model for 500gb/s write, the reads are low in his pics. The 256gb pics are reminicent of my drive on a 3gb/s port. When I switched to the intel 6gb/s port I got whats pictured in my post.

Oh! That's a pretty huge mistake I made. I will do that and post the new results. Thanks for the tip. :)

128gb and 256gb models are slower then 512gb model. Especially 128gb models..

Much better, write speed is hampered on that 128gb. If you got 1 512gb write speed would be around 500mb/s

^ You're pic shows default msiahci driver, not as good as intel 13.2.xx

    Glad it helped you OP

    Oh. I didn't consider that.
I use the 128GB for my OS and programs. The 256GB are for the few games I play, ARMA III and Rome 2. The game load time in those games were killing me, especially Rome 2 on HDD.

Raw write speed not that important on an OS drive, not many huge sequential files to deal with so I think you've got that the right way round.

I bought a 256Gb MX100 on Saturday and it replaced a very fast Toshiba 60Gb SSD which has 500+ speeds on both read and write and I can't say I've noticed a speed difference, except in benchmarks like AS. Interestingly the 4k performance on the MX100 is faster and it scores a higher score overall, but not by much.
