Any way to get 120hz or 144hz on DVI monitor?
I have a 144hz monitor I get Freesync working over DVI but can't get this to go above 60hz.
Am I Supposed to Run the Pixel Patcher ? - Never did this previously.

So far this is what I have been doing
1) Install latest drivers after using DDU
2) Use CRU to add new resolution to O'C Monitor to 2560*1080 72Htz
3) Add HDMI_Audio Block
4) Add freesync range 40-69
6) Select newly added resolution
7) Radeon settings turn on freesync.
if im to use the pixel patcher where in the process should i do this?

I cant tell if its working, i used to see tearing in the amd demo but now i dont, even if i disable both freesync and v-sync... Does this mean its working or not ?
I've successfully tried and OC my monitor freesync range from 48-76 to 35-76 and works pretty fine but the screen keeps flicker like 0.5s blackscreen occasionally. Monitor's a Viewsonic vx2257. If anyone knows a way to get around the flicker problem, i'd really appreciate it if you share it

You need to find sweet FS spot thats all, and if you can't bypass this issue in e.g. Turning Map in game or Options -> Leave and have fun with FS in Games (if its not game breaking issue of course)

Have FreeSync enabled. Have some freaky results, so not confirmed working yet, will explain more when do some more testing.
OK, it may take time.
Remember to Adjust FS Range until you find sweet spot.
And That BIOS you make for me (after my own cooking) its really Great.

Im not using 3rd party soft to calculate this, only Hynix/ATI specs + Math
I may be wrong but not much as +/- 50GB/s lol
640GB/s have HBM on 1.2v acording to Hynix specs, easy to figure it out -> This GPU is a Beast !

Anybody here owns samsung s24f350fhu? Does it show any artifacts after changing freesync range to 42 - 60?
Well I had an unfortunate lock up/restart and upon reboot Freesync was off. Quick unplug replug of the DVI connection and it was back on.
Is there any advice you guys can give me to make this work on a qx2710 (DVI version)?
I used the patcher, overclocked my display in CRU and added the HDMI and Freesync values exactly like yasamoka did, but still I can't enable Freesync in Crimson. Anything else?

Unplug the DVI cable from the GPU and plug it in again. Does Crimson now detect the display as HDMI, or is it still DVI?
I hate to admit it but that was exactly the missing point.
I did all the steps few days ago and I could swear I unpluged the connection and it didn't work (did it on the monitor side but I don't know if it really effects the outcome). Still thanks a lot for your suggestion.
I can't overclock the monitor anymore (on 66Hz I get some flickering and messy lines of color), but 60Hz with Freesync is perfectly fine.
Looked at the second post saw an analysis of three situations that are exactly identical in frame-pacing..... "EXACTLY". Yes, exactly as within the margin of error so close you'd have to be really bad at math to think they show anything.
Freesync might be and probably is working, but those graphs clearly don't show anything.
Love CRU! Used it on my old Benq to get 75hz from my 60hz monitor and now I have a LG-29UM68 I used it on that.
So far I've gone from 75hz to 80hz and from a freesync range of 40-75 to 32-80. Going to see if I can squeeze a few extra hz out of it later today!
No, Every test conducted with FS ON shows even in FLA that actual gameplay is smoother.
Besides i have always good Frame Times with my CRT
60FPS = 16-16.6ms for LED
60FPS = 15.3-15.7ms for CRT (IF solid 60FPS is achieved)
Those tests was to show what im experienced with FreeSync when Playing Games.
Now i have FS ON all the time in all games -> becouse i like it.
I do, but could not change FS range :banana:. When used CRU, my monitor has been recognized as DVI-D so FS cannot be enabled. Had to DDU-ed that :bang:
EDIT: Ok, I did it. Set range to 30 - 60 and seems to be OK. Didn't see any artifacts but sometimes screen gets black for a while. Windows 10 14951 + 16.10.2. Freesync is great.
