    Hello.

I'm using Crimson Relive driver 17.2.1. Today I wanted to modify the brightness of a movie I was playing. I enabled the hardware acceleration in the video player and then went to Crimson setting, Video tab, and started to try all the preconfigured styles, none of them modified the video I was plying (the previsualize button was On).
And that's it, I tried everything and I can't make it work, any ideas? what's wrong?
    I'm using a 480X.

Those filters only work if using standard outputs. Better off using configs in the player or renderer.

What you mean with "standard outputs"?

Works for me at least with MPC-HC and YT in FF.

You probably use standard VLC. I use Nightly 3.0.0 builds. And I went through all outputs modes.
Did not work, so if it is caused by VLC, it works-as-designed.

Considering that other players work as well as they did before ReLive, I would say it is VLC.
+ In past I used VLC mainly on systems with very low performance and no HW capability as most of stuff was done efficiently on CPU.

Just tried VLC and it works as well.

@Leito360: What's your VLC version and VLC settings?

As in using standard hardware accelerated modes of rendering, like DXVA or EVR. Personally, I use MPC-BE + MadVR (DX11 mode), and use MadVR's settings to adjust.
