Someone already tested these drivers? I want to see if it is worth putting my X-FI
And I literally got rid of x64 just like 1 hour ago...
Time for another reformat/reinstallation.. :/
i test it in games, they run a little bit better just like the 2.15.03 set but with out the BSOD. this driver are the best and it took a while too.
LOL... I just removed my X-Fi and have been using onboard sound which finally got rid of my looping sound lock ups in TF2. Now I might have to try this... ugh.
I dunno? I never had the X-fi problem with 4gigs of ram....?
well... I did when I installed Vista SP1
I blamed the SP1
even Alchemy worked fine
Hey, they actually gave us some notes on what they fixed and changed. I guess Creative Labs is finally hearing the people.
or they are getting paid more and now they are doing there job right. look at nvidia, was just like creative labs and now look at them, making drivers out of no where and great support. now ati need to do the same because alot of mods had ati radeon 1950XTX and move to 8800 GTX and not 2900 XT.
Just had a screech for about 20min, and my computer locked up earlier. Going back to youpax I guess.
Installed them on my audigy 4, no problems so far..they seem to be stable
Well I was wrong about using onboard sound fixing my looping sound lockups. I guess I'll put my x-fi back in and give these a try.
Stable as ever on my machine and sound the same as the last. Meh. Good I guess? At least they didn't screw them up.
I done given up on waiting for drivers for my X-Fi! It's been so long. I hope these are good ones.
Hmm now why did i buy that prelude now lol when all the other cards apart from the prelude are getting updates ;/ heh
Cant wait to try these drivers. Really hope they fix some of my issues in games. Bioshock was particularly bad.
They work very good for me Mike! I think that this driver will work very well on your PC too.
They are indeed the most stable ones, no crackling and the best quality every.
Good job Creative!
i have some problem to save audio settings every time i reboot i have to change the speakers to 7.1 and Crystalizer and other sound settings any idea why??
Thats great news, and solves one of my major issues with Vista, at last!
What about XP? There hasn't been a single new driver for the X-Fi for XP for more than a year now.
