Why aren't you using the cf bridge that came with the cards? Keep testing but I have a feeling this will happen again.

XFX, the retards that they are, sent a CF bridge with the cards, that won't reach over there stupid fan shroud! So, I had to order a 10cm CFX Bridge and even paid $29 for next day shipping so I could have it in time for bf4.

So, I put both XFX Cards in my i5-2500k rig and sure enough it did the same thing, freeze requiring hard power down. RMA these bastards first thing tomorrow morning. Only sad thing is there isn't really anything in stock! Now I don't know which cards to get! :(

Sapphire Toxic is what I'd look into, as long as the price is right. Ridiculously good cards.

I had Sapphire 4850's Crossfire while back and they were great. Damn that blue PCB is going to KILL my color scheme lol

Mate if they're reference you should send them back, any potential will be severely restricted.

Wellllll I only plan to run them @ 1080p and also use my Apple Cinema HD 30" monitor for gaming. I don't think that I'll need to OC them much considering how beast they are.

They only have the reference models available for sale right now. I figured i'd order them asap before they sold out. I was pretty happy with my reference 6970's. Even though they sound like fighter jets.

This might sound stupid mate, but i noticed i had problems with the Crossfire bridge being the wrong way round however it apparently doesn't matter? Flip your Crossfire Bridge 180 degrees and then try again and/or try the same on the second bridge slot.

I might have a faulty bridge adapter though :p
