Thanks for the heads up mate! Was interested in that game, but have totally forgotten about it, and at that price I can’t say no.

Good patches! It will be interesting to see if a 64bit version bumps up performance a little. Also, it's good that GoG and Steam users will be able to play together.

So I had been playing Titan Quest the past few days due to it being given away for free on Steam and really enjoying it again... having not played it since 2007 I think, the original disc version.. feels like ages ago.. and so I started wondering what the developer made next after Titan Quest and was amazed to find out the developer was shut down :< But then learned they created a new studio and... this is the next game xD I feel like I've had a decade long brain fart moment where I learn about something long long after the fact haha. This game looks really cool, much like Titan Quest.
Grim Dawn's good. It is very much an evolution of Titan Quest, with the same "seamless" world without loading screens. Some of the areas are great visually, with great spooky mood to boot. The story is also nice, although the expansions are more focused (the main game kinda veers off course). If you're into loot and/or character customisation, there's plenty to choose from here, without it being completely overwhelming like in Path of Exile.
I'd love to get stuck into this, having recently bought it in the sale. However, it's one of very few games that is causing me issues. Firstly, I get stutter just moving through the world and secondly when I go to rotate the camera I get massive hitching. Can't play it like this and so far haven't found a fix. I've tried SSD,HDD,DX11,DX9 and the deferred renderer. I've also tried the core switcher trick as it loads up core 0 on my system.....all to no avail. Anyone here know of a fix I can use? Until I sort it I can't play it, way too annoying. 3600,32Gb 3200 Ram,3060 Ti.
I ended up getting the game last night and playing it for a little while and I didn't experience any kind of stuttering like you described here.. my system is kind of similar to yours I think? Ryzen 3600, 16GB 3200 ram, game on SSD. Maybe it's a nvidia issue? not mature enough drivers yet for 3060Ti? *edit* Just checked your system info, you are still using B450M based motherboard? maybe that is causing an issue of some sort? I'm on B550 based motherboard. Hardware wise the game should run better on your system than mine just because of the much better video card and amount of memory.
Yeh it's a strange one for sure, it's a very stable system with no bsods/weird issues. I get good latency results. Other games perform bang on where my specs should be. Cooling is great and consistent, so I'm gonna go along with what you stated, drivers or a random B450 issue(less likely). I might just report it to Nvidia and keep looking for anything else that may sort it. Loved Diablo 3(stutter free) and I've just checked out Titan quest(recently free) and that performs flawlessly as well. If I manage to fix it I'll post the solution here on the hope that if anyone else comes across the same issue they will also be able to fix it.
