Hello! I have an old i5 760(2010) and since 2017 I have it overclocked from 2.9ghz to 3.8ghz.The main reason for the overclock was because I've read that I am gonna have a bottleneck with the new GPU(RX 470) back then. From reading guides it was saying to not exceed 1.35v and 65-70c under normal usage to be safe and I am lower than that. The thing is that I don't game and oveclocked or not I do the same job fine without noticing any difference. I want to keep the system 3-4 years more but will the CPU last that long overclocked? What does your experience and common sense say? Is it safe to keep the CPU oveclocked for 3-4 more years or it's better to return to defaults in my occasion?
