Hey all. I have a problem I can't figure out. I do not know what has changed, but I no longer can o/c my cpu. When I go into my bios and set it up it shows the changes in the bios, but when I load up windows it is just running at the stock settings(3.5ghz base and 4.0ghz boost). I've even disabled boost in bios. I just cannot figure this out. This is all on a relatively new install of Win10pro. I reset my bios to default and reloaded defaults and reset back to my o/c and it still won't show in Windows. Any ideas??

What are you using in Windows to monitor the OC?

HWiNFO64, CPU-Z, and MSI ab. They all report and show while gaming that it doesn't go above 4ghz.

Ok I just realized that the stock setting are 3.5 and boost 3.9. So why is it reporting 4.0. WTH? I have been banging my head against the wall for about a week now.....

I know how to. Lol I've had it at 4.4ghz for the longest time. Just outta the blue it started doing this. I can set it to 5ghz in the bios and the bios will show it at 5.ghz. Yet when I load up windows it shows it kinda at stock with a base of 3.5 and a boost to 4.0(which should only be 3.9).
