CPU fan not running

    I had weird problems with my computer that has Intel I5-4670 CPU with stock heatsink and fan. I called up Task Manager and clicked on "Performance" tab. I found out that the CPU speed was very low. I found out that the CPU fan was NOT running! I need a new CPU fan that fits on the stock heatsink. Any suggestions?

    I put a portable desktop fan next to the computer case with its side removed and I got normal CPU speeds back. I looked through Amazon's website and can't find out which CPU cooler is good.

    did you try switching the CPU fan header on motherboard?
