    Alright. So.

My current motherboard only uses a 4-pin connector for CPU power. I have an FX-8150 which has a 125W TDP. It works fine now, but i'm planning on getting a water cooler and overclocking a bunch. Will I run out of power when i overclock?

TLDR; How much wattage does that single connector give?

About ~150W more or less, I think each pair of pins is good for 75W.

    It will limit your overclock.
