It advertises as being a 2000Hz mouse, "twice as fast as competitors", but in reality the increased speed of reaction to input is a minuscule difference. A 1000Hz mouse communicates with the PC every 1ms, a 2000Hz mouse will communicate once every 0.5ms - in terms of reaction time the difference between 1ms and 0.5ms is inconsequential and insignificant. But, on a different point related to the Hz of mice, I did read an argument one time that stated that faster than 1000Mhz mice could be useful to reduce mouse stutter on high refresh rate panels - I think this is what I read, I'll do a quick research now to see if I can find it, I might edit this post later.

EDIT: yep, here it is, it's the last couple of sections of this web page:
    https://www.blurbusters.com/faq/mouse-guide/
They say: "The gapping effect is caused by the harmonic frequency difference (beat frequency) between frame rate and mouse poll rate.".
And they also say: "We need official 2000Hz+ mice for strobed and GSYNC displays" [to avoid some of the really quite small microstutters].

2000Hz mice aren't a complete waste then, but you need high refresh rate strobed or GSYNC display to be able to appreciate the difference. Although, I can't say I've noticed mouse stutter, unless I've experienced it & didn't really know it was mouse stutter!! Ha, looks like I better buy a 2000Hz mouse just to be sure! Naa, it can wait, I like my Logitech G303 too much!

EDIT #2: And the top post on the following page from a Blurbuster guru is interesting:

For some reason I think that you can't buy skill. With that in mind, if you are getting wrecked in games, this mouse, or any other, won't help you one iota. Someone like Fatal1ty will wreck you with 20 year old mouse and 60Hz monitor. :p

Of course, but some enthusiasts like to optimise everything to the nth degree to make the experience as best as can possibly be, a hobby of sorts, it doesn't matter if you still get wrecked by Fatal1ty!
