Hey guys, I was looking at the prices for the GTX 680`s and GtX 770`s, as I was looking to upgrade from a 570. They haven`t dropped much, so I was wondering when the prices would actually drop? After E3? or later October? Thanks guys. ps - First post.
Welcome! Competition drives the market. There are rumours that the next generation of AMD cards might be released in October. I don't think we'll see any significant movement in Nvidia's prices until then.
GTX 770 was released a week ago and you already want a price drop? lol... As for GTX 680, not gonna happen. Unless specific manufacturers or sellers drop it. There are 680s @ Newegg starting at 380$ (AR), for example.
I don't see the prices for the GTX770 drop anytime soon. What I do not understand is the 680 is still more expensive than the 770 in my country!
680 dropped prices quite good, in here it costs a bit less than GTX670+- 670, that is quite good. the 770 cost a bit more than 7970 but less than 7970GHZ, 680 cost is really good now.
Where I usually order it's (always lowest price): 1. GTX670 2. GTX770 3. GTX680 4. GTX780 The 680 had a price drop but it's still more expensive than the 770.
Interesting that most price drops got 7950' and 7970' atleast here in Serbia. I am seeing HD 7950's for 270€, isn't that lovely?
Over here Nvidia's prices unfortunately never drop the same way AMD cards drop.really sucks. if they did , id already own a new one. GTX680 7970
