I currently have 32GB of Kingston 1333 ram, but just received a 16GB Quad Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CMZ16GX3M4X1600C9)

Was wondering if you could answer two things:

    1. While the Corsair is 1600 vs. the 1333 Kingston I am using, will I actually notice any difference?

    2. My MB has 8 slots, so it could technically hold both sets - will they work together?

    1. no . not unless you plan to run memory benches. other than that, the difference is negligible at best.

    2. tehcnically yes, but it isnt recommended. youd have to drop the corsair set to 1333mhz. you may have to adjust your timings to match the other set if possible. not really sure about that though.

you wont see much difference in everyday use,

but if it is kingston value ram and not hyperx, the corsair is much better for OCing.

no you should mix the two together as previous posts stated.

    1)- No

2)- Yes. You will probably have to manually set the timings and the frequency to 1333 as well as double check the voltages and rates.

I'm using both corsair Value Ram and Kingston HyperX.
The Corsair is 1333mhz 1.5v and the HyperX is 1600mhz 1.65v, however I have them both running at 1600mhz 1.5v just fine...
