Love Corsair products! I made a point to stick with Corsair products as much as I could with this build.

I never had a problem with any of their products until I got the RGB keyboard. That thing has been a disaster for me and their support for it has been lackluster.

i have a fondness for Corsair in 3 areas: RAM, chassis, and Power supplies.

their AIO coolers are decent too, but like many others who use their goddamn awful corsairLINK software i have had to make my own registry tweaks just to get the software to recognize my H100i and allow me to configure the fan curve and pump speeds the way it was intended.

Of all the companies I've dealt over the last 20 years, Corsair have been lightyears ahead in customer support.

I damaged my 800D side panel once. Wanted to buy a new one from them and they sent me a replacement free of charge. Same for HDD doors and trays.

Had a power supply die and they replaced it with a better model with a few days, free of charge.

They are unmatched in customer support and I've yet to see a company take the same approach as they do.

I don't have a problem with their customer support, I have a problem with their support for the Corsair RGB Keyboard.

They shipped the keyboard with the promise of 16M color backlighting yet it only displayed 512 colors. They promised a driver update would fix it, which I guess it did like a year after the keyboard came out. Except that the 16m color mode disables color animation and whatnot. The keyboard caused booting issues, other devices to stop working, BSOD's, etc -- their recommended fix was to buy a USB PCI-E add-in. The driver software was buggy as hell, constantly crashed, caught in color cycles, etc. The entire thing was a giant mess.

While I'm not keen on their cooling products, they make some of my favourite cases and have a great selection of RAM. That said, I'm not much into AIO coolers in general so it's nothing against them in particular. I'm still interested in seeing how the new products perform. We've seen a lot of companies come and go over the years, Corsair is still going strong so they're clearly doing something right.

Yes, because your single experience is enough to negate the hundreds of posts on the forums including a massive FAQ on how to solve all of the problems:

    Including a post by James:

8 months after the keyboard shipped they had USB issues, which specifically effected my motherboard (pretty much all Z97 users were forced to buy a USB card to remedy the problem prior to this late update).

I am still confused over Skylake and DDR3/4... Will you be able to use DDR3 or DDR4 with all processors (as in you choose) or are certain processors DDR3 while others are DDR4 meaning that if you are not careful, going from one Skylake CPU to another means you could have to upgrade your memory too?

RAM's good, the one PSU of theirs I bought made a loud humming noise, and my H100 died randomly. Now for PSUs I stick either with Enermax or Coolermaster and for cooling Noctua.

Love their power supplies, RAM and customer service.

As far as keyboards, I'm currently on my 4th K95. I went through 3 regular K95s before they upgraded me to a K95 RGB. My Father is also on his 2nd non-RGB K95. It got so bad for me with the non-RGB K95 that the replacement they sent me had a dead LED within 12 hours of unboxing it....

Also had to deal with the horrid Corsair Link software on my Father's PC which has an H100i GTX. Sometimes the software works fine and let me tweak fan % and pump speed and then other times it didn't work at all. And I've never been able to set up a fan profile, that feature has never worked...

I've also used their headsets as well and quite enjoy them for gaming (Vengeance 2100 and Vengeance 1500)
