Under liquid nitrogen, overclocker Allen 'Splave' Golibersuch has overclocked the Core i9-13900K processor to 8.2 GHz. Intel's Thermal Velocity Boost (TVB) technology provides a maximum turbo boost... Core I9-13900K Overclocked 8.2 GHz (on sub-zero cooling)
Crazy clocks this gen! Going to be fun on cold Will wait for KS myself since I won't get an ultra bin 13900K like Allen haha
Pretty impressive. Most likely a golden samples but still impressive. Any word on the motherboard? It's a Asrock but no details on the model.
Not for Ln2 I'm not, for a daily gaming build I'd be very interested in what the 3DVcache variants can do from AMD
Makes me wonder if 3dvcache chips are more prone to get ruined under ln2 than normal chips , I would imagine the bond with the other chip is much more sensitive than the solder on the PCB .... On the other hand I am only using my logic here never touched ln2 cooling or tried it ...so I talk out of my ass !
Drag racing is amazing based on the fact of what they can push. Same thing for the PC, pushing it to its limits is very fun to do and to see what others can do. Then compare benchmarks and realize I am still a small fish in the big ocean of Guru's!
100% agree it is a hobby and as far people have fun that's the whole point of it ! People dismissing it cause is not applicable 24/7 they should start dismissing a lot of hobbies !
