Intel is looks to debut the rest of the Raptor Lake CPU family in early January 2023, during CES, and with the launch date nearing, the rumour mill normally picks up speed, with test leaks and predict... Core i5-13500 Benchmarks Leaked and reveals big Multi-Threaded Performance Gains
It should be faster than the last gen as its already known the IPC of P/E cores of the 13x00 series. AMD is at the top of the charts on stock no OC settings in terms of IPC independent of clock speeds but Intel seems to scale better in terms of MHZ. I think the value is the IPC to $ performance if they keep it very close to 200USD/Euros like the 12400F. But AMD 7600 non X is coming out so...
Agreed. For me it's a tossup between this and the 7700 non-X. If AMD's partners don't offer enough affordable ITX motherboard options, Intel may win my purchase by default. Otherwise, I'm probably going to pick whoever yields the best performance-per-watt.
Congrats for the very detailed screenshots. Wtf. The CR23 MT score is 19891 not 19981. Oh well, this is the font: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1Z44y1U7Jg/ The guy looks like is about to faint. I guess those engineering samples are very hard to test.
No it's 6P/0E vs 6P/8E, so the 50% multithreaded improvement is entirely due to higher core counts. xD Like... sure... I guess that's impressive... but they make it sound like it's an improvement with the same core counts, and it's clearly not. I want to know what the 13500 vs the 13600K yields, considering this is essentially that processor except cheaper.
I been eyeing this cpu since it was announced. though if price is right i would go with i7 version that 65tdp , though to fight the urge
That's what I was saying ! Although I thought it had only 4 little cores and not 8 little cores .... For 8 extra little cores is a bit underwhelming tbh considering the bump on single core 8 extra little cores they should give more ... No ?
its true, but I feel even if they undercut the 13500 a bit, the platform cost kinda makes it unappealing.
1080p results w. 3080Ti not bad, especially if paired with a board that can do bclk oc. still, I'd get the 12600KF, same price and unlocked vccsa. 13400F is disappointing. costs more than 12600kf used.
