Cooler Master Partners with D-BOX to Create World's First Haptic Engine Gaming Chair

This is one of those things that if done right, could really do a lot to enhance an experience, but will otherwise be an expensive gimmick that maybe only makes sense for a handful of titles for a few years. The tricky part is how this is implemented.

 

It's going to make Teams meetings much more interesting.

 

It'll be interesting to see how much this costs. D-BOX home theater recliners are $13,000+USD, so...

 

For that price, it better double as a massage chair for when not in "gaming" mode.

 

They're all custom built designer chairs, not mass produced, which is one reason why they are so pricy. Even without the D-BOX modules they cost upwards of $5000USD. Designer furniture for rich folks is crazy.
