Well I played about 2 hours with 1.4.1 and it seems fine to me,I did notice it to be blurry at times with DLSS Quality but that is just DLSS I take it.
Yah i saw this patch, original i saw noted on eurogamer, I thought it was official patch which what prompted me to install on pc, then i went re read it notice it was mod. I installed it didnt see much of difference, I was hopping for FSR to be built into the game, this is one those game i could use FSR
So I managed to get FSR mod 2.2 to install along with unofficial patch from game dev 1.4 and i installed 1.41 though i have no intentions of use RT. At 1440p with quality setting of 1706 x 960 ( would of like a ultra quality in there but it what it is) Look infinity better that 1440p render at 1080p and and bout same as 1080p rendering. Just for comparisons on reinstalled the game on ps5 in performance mode, and now I think PC version look as good at PS5 version, Textures on ultra most everything else on medium, and 60 fps seem very stable. It does seem to have odd graphical glitch here and there but i will probably never notice then less i really paying attention. 1440p native actual look blurry to me vs 1440p with FSR on quality, I will chalk that up to fact I using DSR on monitor for the 1440p, Will check later on TV that actual support 1440p. There also seem to be no walking/running rumble on controller but shoot rumble is there
it would be slide show on 1070ti... and in most case lose in performance is not worth it on systems I used RT on less it could do 60 fps without DLSS which most can not, RT look good wont done right i wont deny that but there is to much hit to peformance on cards that actual can do RT to make worth it in my eye. If when it can be done with 60 with out dlss/fsr and other trickier at my target res is when I will use it much like AO I refused to use that when it first came out the same reasons It doubt full even when I get new gpu I will use RT in anything unless the above condition can be met
Anyone know why the game says I need an RTX gpu for dlss so its greyed out? I can however enable the RT settings but they dont seem to actually change anything
DLSS is acelerated by Tensor Cores, only available on RTX cards. In Control is possible to activate RayTracing on non-RTX GPUs, but the performance is really low.
No standard version that comes with the game I did try to use a newer version to see if it helped but no
Did you change hardware or anything? Try reinstalling game and drivers, I had DLSS greyed out once and that fixed it.
What amazed me is when the game turned all red and how the combat became much harder just because of the colour change. Weird.
Never played the version from GOG but must be the same version of Steam nowadays and the file structure being the same. If you can ativate RayTracing means you are already running on DX12 so that part is covered too. I agree that can be the possibility of some problem with the graphics driver making the game not detecting the DLSS libraries. When reinstalling the drivers, I recommend always DDU to clean old one. Just a note, I recommend the mod HDR Ultrawide DLSS RT Patch for this game.
