The patch fixed the noise in the game on textures, ray traced indirect diffuse lighting was also fixed.
Example:Restart for all resolutions, continuous recording on shadowplay and restart of game between resolution change for anyone interested.

    3840x2160 native resolution scale 3840x2160 + 4xMsaa
    1920x1080 resolution scale 3840x2160
3840x2160 native resolution scale DLSS 2560x1440

    Sorry for the late reply.
But yes, I have been able to play it. And it's everything I ever wanted.

Absolutely love it, it's Remedy through and through... and is a strong contender for my favorite game this year.
And, with one of the future expansions focusing on Alan Wake... I'm beyond thrilled.

I still hope for an Alan Wake 2. Once Control becomes non exclusive, I'm buying the complete collection.

I tested DLSS 960P on new monitor Aorus AD27QD and its looks better. Somebody said that DLSS 960P in Control looks like Nintendo 64 game. But i dont agree.

So what you think guys play 1440P dlss -->960P or just 1440P with rtx medium?

I have 2080 Ti Waterforce AOrus

If your using dlss then its 960p downscale not native 1440p which looks miles sharper and better.

Use native 1440p with rtx on and lets see what that 1300$ gpu can do. If it cant handle it then tell yourself your card not capable of raytracing and nvidia is playing tricks on you.

Sorry but 35-45fps during heavy fights are too low for me. Its on native 1440P with all raytracing on :)
I want full smooth 60 fps. So thats why i ask. Also DLSS 960P looking nice new monitor bring that on.

Ok i manage to get 60 fps and above during heavy fights. ! Resolution 1440P render 1080P . Looking almost like 1440P with this and its pretty smooth with all RTX ON.

It is one of the worst optimized games I've found throughout the year, I want to play how bad it works.

It's also one of the best looking game out there, and i'm not even talking about ray tracing, that's just cherry on top.

When you use your abilities there's real time fluid simulation in visual effects, the details they're going for is incredible. Loved this game.

After playing RDR2 you really realize that despite this 'AAA' mark, there's still a massive gap in term of budget and scope between studios. (RDR2 should be in category AAAA*)
I firmly believe Remedy delivered a unique experience that's incredible fun and original, plays very well, is satisfying and look gorgeous.

I'm having those crashes for a while, any fix ? GPU is factory OC and 75°C does not sound too dangerous to me.
    Sometimes it says "nativebufferallocator".

DX12 + ray tracing on medium.

Nice one... How does it run on your 1070ti? I'm visiting family and my brother's PC has a 1070ti in it, kinda tempted to buy the game as I like Remedy games (Death Rally and the OG Max Payne being my favourite) but curious about the performance... Rest of his PC is pretty standard, Ryzen 2600, 16gb 3200mhz ram, SSD etc.

It actually ran really well. Can't remember exactly what settings I used, but with mostly High and some tweaking, it was always above 70s FPS wise.
Much better then Quantum Break. Performance and game wise. :)

Also, I added a sharpening filter through Nvidia's Freestyle to counter the game's natural blur. Worked really damn well.
And, I found the best room in the whole damned game...

I'm waiting for the Steam release to replay it, and get the DLC. :)
My wife bought me a copy off of Humble Bundle because she knew I'm a huge Remedy fan. But, I still would rather have it on Steam. Just... because.

I'm still waiting for it on Steam. No real loss... I'll be busy with Red Dead 2 until DOOM Eternal and Cyberpunk.
