With a 2070 framerate is in 40's maxed out 1080p with a raytracing high preset with some nasty dropps even below that. I dont think 2070 super variant is that much faster with the few more rt cores. Spoiler
Yep it's not visible in the beginning, but once you get your powers and the mass destruction starts, there are some obvious drops below 60... at least in my case.
You know the way it goes, some people actually believe there getting 60FPS when most know it is not true. I been playing 3440 x 1440 RTX Max and get 40FPS-60FPS and even drops where the action stopped for a second in an action scene. Just wrecking stuff which is pure awesome 3440x1440 RTX Max 50-60FPS @ 23:30 time with overlay on. Spoiler
Loving this but god damn, the game has some real blur/texture quality issues. Thankfully it doesn't detract too much from the awesome gameplay.
Played a few more hours, agree... this is Remedy at their best. This is the game you can tell they have wanted to make for a long time. Physics and destruction are great with TK, very well done. Agree on the blur/texturing.
I see a lot of issues with this game... Visuals are very nice, but the game is seriously unoptimized. Some effects like SSR totally tank the performance. Even if it runs 60FPS in 95% of areas you will always find locations where it drops below 60. Physics is overdone. Objects feel as if they have absolutely no weight. Everything feels like a feather, everything starts falling even on slightest touch. I've also encountered bugs with objects falling through doors or floors after throwing them. Gunplay is seriously unpolished, where you can randomly loose 90% of health out of nowhere, which doesn't fit the game at all. There is only one source of life via drops from dead enemies. Checkpoints are placed idiotically and extremely sparse. There is no proper save system. Story so far is strongly underwhelming. At this point I don't even care about the dialogues because I'm totally bored by it.
Fantastic game so far. Only played about an hour but had to stop playing as it was late. Happy with the performance and DLSS here, 1440p internal res (4k output) and the image is sharper than expected. I'd say fps hovers between 45-60 but the gameplay feels smooth and responsive. @Damien_Azreal I know your views on EPIC but I feel you are really doing yourself a disservice waiting especially when your a huge fan of Remedy. So far Im personally liking it a lot more than Alan Wake, good amount of intrigue, weird, psychological torment and with a dose of the weirdest David Lynch material thrown in (black lodge and eraserhead ). Also Evil Within and some Silent Hill influences is also a good thing.
Looks like another Quantum Break. It'll take another 2 generations of cards before anyone can run this game maxed out at 4K.
Hello guys. Have an question.9900K and I have 2080 Ti Aorus Waterforce Xtreme. Temps 58-60C. Is this worth to buy this game? How many fps it can be on rtx maxed with 1440P? On youtube with 2080 ti guys had 45fps. But new drivers improve them i heard?
There is no stronger gaming gpu, it is just if you wanna play the game or not. Unless you play at 8K, you should own any game available with 2080ti. Every game with an average of 48fps (1/3 of 144hz) is extremely playable don't worry, go for it.
