just tried afterburner on my Gigabyte 5870 2GB card.

After changing the cfg. from 0 to 1 im able to overclock and overvolt.

IM assuming all the new 5870 2GB cards should be the same...they all have the same part numbers and the boards all look to be referance boards...

NO overvolt yet and running 980 core/1325 mem for a few runs of 3dm6....gonna give it some serious overlocking later when i have some time to play and record all the new voltages and settings.. :)

checked and confirmed with GPUZ for overvolting.... Just hit 26,214* 3dm6 with a 990/1312 OC @ 1.235V core

Ive been to 1050/1340 @ 1.250v but wasnt stable ( crashed with driver not responding )

later, I will try for some better voltage tweaking and see if i can get it stable @ 1050/ 1340...im thinking it may need 1.260+ volts or more...maybe even 1.275 ( i hope not im really not interested in just a benchmark run with high volts @ or over 1.3 area.
