As always In-win is present at Computex, often with some concept designs and some sort of crowd pleaser. This year we can compact that towards two keywords, spheres and wood....

I love the A1 Cube, definitely a case I'd buy.

Alright, if no one else is going to mention it...What is In-Win getting so excited/turned on about?

My mum would love those wooden cases, reminds me of the wooden TV we had growing up, took years for my folks to finally move to a plastic set.

If that is the case, why no Buzz Lightyear edition?

That's cheap plywood, makes it look chinsy. If it was a higher quality wood product I'd at least look to see what the price was. The spherical case does look pretty cool though.

Yeah a nice mahogany or walnut would be better, the spherical case reminds me of a space helmet for some reason, looks cool tho.

nope, not interested. like many other cases it still has the usb/audio ports on the top.

i would like to see designers/engineers arrive in "real life", where we experience dust,
and all ports are on the side/bottom etc.

[IMG] Gee did someone get the idea from the navigation device on Jupiter II from Lost In Space? How groundbreaking!
