Hi my girlfriend's computer bought for her son for gaming is shutting down every time he tries to game !

He has a GTX 970 video card it's about 3 years old now.

I have replaced the morher board memory an CPU for now and the problem still persist !

It has to be the PSU or The GPU what is the easiest way to sort out what is causing this ?

Can I test the PSU some how with software ?

I downloaded Heaven benchmark and when it start's to bench the computer shut's down and reboots

    THX in advance folks

I would suggest getting somewhere else, yours for example, PSU and replace and test. Unless you have tester equipment.

    Doubt it the GPU.

Oke I have a PSU in my server that I could get out and test in their computer :)

Ps why do you doubt it's the GPU ?

Definitely test another PSU if possible. That's exactly what happened when my old PSU decided to die. Swapped it with a new one and everything worked as it should.
