Hey, You know how you can set your "Computer Name" but it won't take spaces? Well I used to put something like Desktop-Computer because hyphens are allowed and spaces aren't. So I was messing around with it earlier and I thought; I'm going to change it to something like "Windows®7" and it worked, it said something about are you sure you want "non-standard computer name" or something and I clicked OK. I changed the 'Computer Description' to "Windows® 7 Ultimate", I don't care about Copyright and Registered Trademark symbols or anything like that, I just like the way it looks, it's different and I like that, I actually asked one of the Moderators on this forum if they could add a ® to the end of my name (or at least I think it was this forum, maybe it wasn't, it was some forum anyway) and they didn't oblige, not that I blame them. Then I thought if it is allowing Alt Code symbols like ® or © could I use the Alt Code for the hidden space - Alt 255 and I could! So I was able to change it. I changed it to simply "Desktop PC" and usually it wouldn't allow that space but because it's an Alt Code it works. So if you ever wanted to change the 'Full/Computer Name' and have a space in it then use the Alt Code for the hidden space (Alt 255).
