^That's cool, I dodn't mean to sound all defensive I guess a lot of the improved performance comes with higher clocks, helped by having real cores instead of "modules".....
Still module based.. 8 cores is still AMDs marketing. Notice Hilberts 8150 review also says 8 physical cores.
This benches u showed me the i7 3770k and i5 3570k still owning the 8350 might as well get the i7 just add another hundred dollars and still can get a good i7 setup for 1300 us dollars just like the op posted on his budget limit. and also the i5 3570k is only 229 us dollars and fx 8350 is 209 dollars the difference is so minimal in prices but u get much better performance with the i5 3570k. like a lot review site say amd fx 8350 is not that good compare to the intel ones when it comes to gaming
^No Vishera is not as good as the i7 in gaming, but it still performs well and is much cheaper. Also as I said earlier the difference between both CPU's will be negligible at 1080p. Feel free to put a quality system together that is within the OP's budget (remember he's from the UK...)
Sure, if he wants to stay within his budget using an inferior GPU, SSD and PSU - I don't see a problem there. At least he'll have the fastest CPU on the planet right? C'mon would you rather have a 660Ti+3570 or a 7950+8320 at 1080p when most games will be GPU limited? Be honest..... You guys still have the mentality that if it's not the fastest CPU then it must be crap...at least that's the impression I'm getting....
http://www.microcenter.com/search/s...ocessors/CPUs-:-Computer-Parts-:-Micro-Center 2500k, $159.99, 3570k $169.99 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...N=100007671 600373078&IsNodeId=1&name=Vishera $219.99 8350 or $179.99 8320? no brainer I would drive to patterson, nj and get one of the intel chips
OK sure, but I mean what would you do in regards to the OP? In the UK (at least on scan) the 8320 is $142 (Euros) vs the 3570K @ $164 Euros. And the P8Z77-V Pro @ $143 Euros vs the much better 990FX Sabertooth @ $124 Euros. So that saves him about 40 euros, he gets a better motherboard and a CPU that may not be the fastest, but still meets his requirements.....
intel for slightly more money, he could always buy a slightly less expensive m/b to offset the price if money is tight. http://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-hardware/all/motherboards-intel/socket-1155-intel-z77
Yeah OK fair enough. Personally I'd rather have the better motherboard but each to their own....everyone's priorities are different. The Sabertooth is only worth buying for SLI, otherwise I would really go for the 970 Evo which is about 85 Euros or thereabouts.
Sabertooth is not worth buying for SLI, there are much less expensive and good quality SLI boards like Z77 Extreme4, P8Z77-V LK and Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H. Sabertooth is perhaps worth buying for looks (preference), 5 year warranty, and superb 8+4+2 power for heavy overclockers.
LOL get a clue Mr Never Wrong....since when did Intel make the 990FX Sabertooth? :stewpid: Just more irrelevant drivel coming from you as usual...just like your stupid Bulldozer benchmarks. Wish I had've logged in b4 surfing G3D. Nvm you're back on my ignore list now. Bye.
